Mikuni fuel pump does not have mechanical parts rather a rubber diaphragm that uses the engine’s fluctuating engine crankcase pressure to pump fuel from the fuel tank to the engine’s carburetor(s). It offers a constant and uniform fuel flow. These pumps have proven excellent and more reliable than OEM and aftermarket fuel pumps and generally used in applications which experience high acceleration. Comes with a pressure relief valve and a small return to tank port to ensure a constant fuel pressure and avoid carb needle valve pop off when at idle without having to have a continuous tank return line. This then allows for full fuel delivery with a larger needle valve seat inlet port size to better supply wide open throttle demand.
